My name is Saad Manjawala and I am running to be your next Vice President Operations. For me this role is about building a university experience that actually works for students. Over the past few years I have seen how small operational issues can create big frustrations. Whether it is slow response times, unclear processes, or services that feel disconnected from student needs, I have felt it all just like you. That is why I am stepping forward.
I want to create an environment where student life runs smoothly and where resources are easy to access. My focus will be making operations more transparent, faster, and more predictable. I plan to streamline communication so students get answers quickly, improve the way services are organized, and work closely with student groups so they are supported instead of held back by unnecessary barriers.
I care about efficiency but I also care about people. Anyone who knows me knows that I take pride in being reliable, calm under pressure, and detail oriented. I enjoy solving problems and I like making processes cleaner and easier for everyone. I want to bring that same energy to this role.
I believe the student union should feel like a place where students’ voices lead the decisions. If elected, I will prioritize accountability, better service delivery, and a more responsive operational structure that listens to feedback instead of ignoring it.
I am asking for your support so we can build a student union that is easier to navigate, more supportive, and more connected to the real issues students face. Thank you for considering me.
