How We Operate
Any TMU student facing any level of food insecurity (the inability to obtain food that meets your dietary needs) can use our services.
All students who access the GFC must register as a member. For same-day registration, students can speak to a staff member in-person during our Hours of Operation.
Please note that the second day of every week we open is always super busy, and we can only fit so many people in the space at a time.
Register as a Member
To register as a member, just walk in during the GFC’s operating hours, speak to a staff member, and fill out the registration form to receive your card. No appointment is required.
Note: OneCard must be provided. Please bring your phone in case more verification is needed. You will not be asked to provide proof of income or any related legal information.

2026 Hunger Report
Student food insecurity is a growing crisis. The 2026 Hunger Report, researched and written by the GFC team, aims to understand and demonstrate the scope of student hunger at TMU and beyond.
Other Food Banks
The Good Food Centre is a proud partner organization of the Daily Bread Food Bank. A large portion of the food we are able to give to students is received from the Daily Bread Food Bank as part of their Member Agency program.
