Legal Services

All full-time undergraduate students at TMU have access to a lawyer who can advise and assist them with virtually any legal problem, at no cost.

The legal service is provided by Bill Reid, who holds an MBA as well as a law degree. Bill has practiced law for over 35 years, and has counseled students in particular for over 25 years. He can help you with housing, employment and debt issues, as well as family, criminal and corporate law, immigration, and issues with government agencies.

Bill can be reached by email each business day, at legal@yourtmsu.ca. Consultations generally begin via email, and may continue that way, or via Zoom or in person where appropriate, for example to notarize documents.
