My name is Hetavi Shah, and I’m running to represent the TRSM Faculty on the TMSU Board of Directors because I believe every student deserves to feel heard, supported, and empowered throughout their university experience.
As a commerce student who is actively involved on campus, I’ve seen how much potential TMU students have, and how important it is that we have strong representation advocating for resources, equity, and opportunity.
If elected, I will focus on:
Academic advocacy: pushing for fair policies, better support, and accessible learning resources.
Equity & inclusion: ensuring that students from all backgrounds feel welcomed, represented, and supported in every space.
Transparency & accountability: keeping communication open — students should always know how decisions are made and where funds are going.
I’m running because I care about student voices, and I’ve always believed in taking action when I see a gap. TMU students deserve representation that understands their challenges, respects their ambitions, and is ready to put in the work.
