My name is Harsham, and I am running for International Student Director because I genuinely want to make the international student experience at TMU more supportive, welcoming, and easier to navigate.
Being an international student comes with many challenges — adjusting to a new country, managing academic expectations, and finding a sense of belonging. I’ve seen firsthand how important it is to have someone who understands these experiences and is willing to advocate for real improvements. That is the role I hope to take on.
If elected, I will focus on strengthening communication, expanding access to resources, and creating more opportunities for international students to feel connected and heard. I want to be someone you can approach with concerns, ideas, or feedback — and someone who will take action.
