The TMSU Executive are elected members of the Board of Directors and full-time employees who work on their portfolios and oversee the organization. Nikole Dan

President

My name is Nikole Dan, I am a third year student in the Creative Industries program. I am the president of the TMSU until April 2024. I am a passionate, extremely motivated and hard working student who has the desire to make students’ life better on campus academically and socially. My goal this year is to advocate for students rights, work more towards providing resources to students for better mental health support, collaborate with the Athletics to increase university spirit and give more support to Athletics & Recreational clubs. I also intend to support the minority groups, create safe spaces for them and provide them with the social opportunities to interact with each other and do more events for them. Hetu Patel

Vice-President, Education

Hetu Patel, a second-year international computer science student, has gained substantial experience through involvement in the Senate, Senate Priorities Committee, and the Academic Plan 2025-30 Advisory Group. Now serving as the VP Education at TMSU, she is committed to elevating the student experience. For Winter 2024, her key priorities include championing an Engineering Fall Reading Week and facilitating early access to course outlines. With the backing of the community, she endeavours to bring about positive change.

Patricia Doan

Vice-President, Equity

Patricia is a Second Year Industrial Engineering Student. She’s extremely excited to be representing you and she hopes to foster a stronger engagement.

Aleksander Strazisar

Vice-President, Operations

Aleks is a 4th year Economics and Finance student with a lot of experience helping and supporting student groups at TMU. This includes a variety of clubs with roles like President of the Economics Course Union (IECON), Chapter Head of the Investa Insights Investment Club, and VP Finance for SASSH, the Student Society for the Faculty of Arts. As VP Operations of the TMSU he oversees many financial and operational matters of the Students Union, and is working to simplify and improve financial processes and communications. Nadir Janjua

Vice-President, Student Life

Nadir Janjua is a third-year Toronto Metropolitan University student pursuing Aerospace Engineering. Being a part of TMSU has always been a major accomplishment for him as it allows him to reflect the voices of all students and provide outstanding support for various student organizations on campus. He intends to make changes on campus that will be beneficial to the university for a very long time.
