My name is Muaaz Alam, and I am a second-year Business Technology Management student. I am running for this position because I want to contribute to improving the academic experience and representation of students.
As a student, I understand that many students face challenges when it comes to academic policies, communication with the university, and understanding their rights and available support. I believe it is important for students to have someone who listens to their concerns and represents their voices in discussions that affect their education.
If elected, I would focus on advocating for clearer communication between students and the university, helping students better understand academic processes and resources, and ensuring that student concerns are brought forward in a constructive and responsible way. I believe that collaboration, transparency, and listening to students are key to building a stronger academic environment for everyone.
I may not be the loudest person in the room, but I am someone who listens carefully, thinks deeply, and works relentlessly to make meaningful change for students.
