My name is Megan Morgan, and I am an Entrepreneurship major committed to amplifying student voices and promoting equity at TMU. I have been very active at TMU, engaging in student organizations. These organizations work to support minority communities and foster inclusive campus environments.

For example, I am currently a Conference Associate Sponsorship Manager for the Black Business Student Association. In this role, I sustain partnerships and advocate for resources that support our community. This role has developed my commitment to amplifying student voices and promoting equity at TMU.

Additionally, I serve as a Graphic Designer for the Toronto (Met) Entrepreneurship Association. I design accessible content to inspire,  showcase student initiatives, and build representation of the diverse identities within our course union.

My participation in these organizations illustrates my dedication to representation, safe spaces, and elevating the experiences of marginalized students. I understand deeply how significant it is to see yourself represented in leadership and campus programming.

As your Vice-President of Equity, I will advocate, listen, and act on behalf of students facing adversity at TMU, including but not limited to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, neurodiverse, and disabled communities. I am committed to ensuring every student feels safe, heard, and represented.

I will lead with transparency, intention, and collaboration, working with students to identify gaps and create meaningful solutions. I want to contribute to a campus where equity is not just a principle, but a lived experience.

I will also advocate for students who rely on financial aid, especially as policies like OSAP and Bill 33 impact access to funding and support. Financial accessibility is a key part of equity, and I will work to ensure students navigating financial aid systems feel supported, informed, and represented.

Thank you for considering me for VP of Equity. Justice for the TMSU!
