About Orientation Week

Many different organizations and offices do things for orientation week at TMU, and there are lots of events to choose from. There are also many unofficial events that take place off campus. Please remember to be safe at any events, but especially clubbing and party events. The Centre for Safer Sex and Sexual Violence Support is available to anyone looking for advice, supports, or resources.

Daily Pancake Breakfast

Your students’ union will be serving hot and fresh pancakes Monday through Thursday of Orientation Week from 9AM until 11AM. While supplies last.

Campus-Wide Orientation

The Central Orientation team organizes the “main” orientation events that are open to all students in any program. The TMSU will be present and helping at many of these events, including the ones linked directly below, and we’d love to get to know you!

These highly recommended (sometimes mandatory depending on program) sessions are run by each program to give incoming students a preview of what to expect, and share important instructions and tips for first years.
